Comprehensive Social Work Practice

Chloe has a proven track record across the lifespan of social care, having held pivotal roles as a Social Worker and Senior Practitioner. Her expertise spans both:

  • Adults Services: Specialising in complex areas including support for older people, mental health, learning disability, and physical disability.

  • Children’s Services: With experience in Care and Support, Child Protection, Children Looked After, and creating court reports for long-term care planning and Adoption.

Leadership and Quality Assurance

Chloe’s professional impact extends significantly beyond direct practice, showcasing her commitment to systemic improvement and regulatory excellence.

A range of professional roles and experiences have solidified her expertise in quality assurance. This includes serving as an Inspection Manager (Team Manager role) for Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW). In this capacity, she contributed to the oversight and quality of social care provision across Wales. Additionally, Chloe acts as a Social Care Panel Member for Social Care Wales for the purpose of their Fitness to Practise Hearings.

Developing Professional Excellence

Chloe has a particular interest in shaping the next generation of professionals. This dedication was demonstrated through her leadership roles where her responsibilities included:

  • Providing formal supervision to practitioners, case managers, and student social workers.

  • Offering key managerial support and expertly prioritising and allocating workloads.

  • Delivering essential training and group supervision sessions focused on evolving legislation, policy, and translating learning into informed practice.
